Fords, MGs and Pontiacs featured in the Kansas City car show, car cruise, and car racing calendar for June 1, 2, 3, 2012

So what do you like? Pontiacs? MGs? Swap meets? Maybe you just want to attend a generic cruise or car race. Well, all of that and more is within a short drive of your Kansas City-area home this weekend.

The Show-Me Rods have been hosting their show for 35 years now. There are all-Ford shows going on in Kansas City, Wichita, and Topeka. And look for cruise nights in Overland Park, Blue Springs, and more.

NASCAR on the Boob Tube

Last weekend was a big one with the Coke 600 and the Indy 500, but that doesn’t mean the NASCAR action stops this week. This time all three series are at the Monster Mile, where they’ll be getting it done on the perfect little oval.

    That PONTIAC Tribute day in MO sounds like I could spend a LOT of money there (on my '83 Firebird)...and also get to hang with other "arrowheads" in the crowd...!

    Wish they'd have something like that in Ft. Wayne (or somewhere closer).
