If you haul eight or nine people/kids, tow a boat or camping trailer, and want the safety of a larger vehicle, a compact isn't going to work for you. If you're commuting by yourself, a little car might be the ticket. There are tradeoffs for both, though. I mean, if you buy a small car, you know there are going to be bigger vehicles out there--that's a compromise you chose when you bought your car. Luckily, everyone can pick what they want, and put up with the good in the bad qualities of their choices.Craig Hoverhttp://www.hovermotorco.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522234108528953585.post-42633549151378870302011-09-21T16:43:42.943-05:002011-09-21T16:43:42.943-05:00I don't drive a Prius. There's the energy required to produce, recyclability of materials, mild vs HSLA steel, PTFE plastics, manual labour vs robotics, longevity , ad infinitum. The prius is actually one of the WORST cars available in the US as far as environmental impact. The best? The Jeep Grand Cherokee; one of those "evil SUV's"... {this may have changed w/the introduction of the new style 2012 model, but was accurate as of last year]<br />You obviously don't like cars - so what are you here for? P**S OFF and go choke on your tofu. Nevertheless, as an environmentalist, I decry the waste engendered by its magnitude, and as a compact car driver, I decry its obstruction of my view of the road and the threat it poses to my person.Rick in PVhttp://rickhellman.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3522234108528953585.post-8047316776249148232011-09-19T20:47:33.340-05:002011-09-19T20:47:33.340-05:00May I have that white 4wd 65/66 please?!? :)May I have that white 4wd 65/66 please?!? :)johnnoreply@blogger.com
