I really enjoy it when the Goodguys car show comes to town. It takes place at the football stadium, but you see cars running around all over Nashville. This is nothing like a weekly car cruise. It’s expensive to show your car there. There are lots of rules and regulations. It’s hard to win anything. It’s a huge production, almost like having a NASCAR race come to town. It’s an exciting event even if you don’t like cars, but it’s even more exciting if you do. It’s one of those shows that I try make every year, even if I don’t have a car in the show. It takes a few hours to get through it all, but it’s worth the time.

29th-Annual 2016 Oktoberfest Antique Car Show in Lebanon, TN
When I decided to run over and snap a few quick pictures of the 29th-Annual Oktoberfest Car Show after church last Sunday, I had no idea what I was getting into. It looked like hundreds of cars lined up on the shady front lawn of the Wilson County Bank corporate headquarters. Once I got through those, I looked across the street and realized there was an even bigger lot full of vehicles to tackle. Then, when I was nearing the end of that area, I noticed yet another lot full of cars down the street. In all, there were easily 500 cars in three different areas. This show is no joke. The selection of cars was pretty serious too. If you couldn’t find something to like at this show, you just don’t like cars.

Wagner's visit marks 800th story on Hover Motor Company
Today’s story marks a milestone with the Hover Motor Company blog. This is the 800th post on here in six years. We have looked at a lot of cars. Of course, avid readers know that before I moved to Nashville, I lived in Kansas City. Last week I went back home, and I figured a visit to Wagner’s Classic Cars would be a fitting article to put here. I was able to go with my dad, which is always great. Plus, they had some interesting things on the showroom floor. So here’s a look at what we saw during our journey to Bonner Springs, Kan. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed going there.
