Sometimes when I haven’t been to a lot of car events, it’s hard for a little brain like mine to come up with things to write about. All the movie links on my Facebook feed have had a lot of stuff about the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. I haven’t actually seen it, or read the books, but I do know something that comes in several shades of grey—cars! You might think everything you see at a car show is red, but I actually compiled a huge collection of grey and silver cars for my slideshow. Let’s take a look at a few.

On the anniversary of John DeLorean's death, we look at his most infamous car
Today is the anniversary of the death one of the most famous, and one of the most infamous characters in automotive history. On March 19, 2005, John Z. DeLorean died in a New Jersey hospital from a stroke at the age of 80.
DeLorean had an incredible career in the auto industry. As the chief engineer of Pontiac, DeLorean gets the nod as the father of the GTO in 1964. Then he was promoted to the head of Pontiac, and cars like the Firebird and the Grand Prix were born during this time.

Back to the Future comes back to the present. Includes a look at the DeLorean DMC-12
“You built a time machine … out of a DeLorean?”
If you were around in the 1980s, you probably remember that line spoken by Michael J. Fox in the 1985 Steven Spielberg-produced time travel adventure Back to the Future. It has been a long time since anyone has been able to hear that said on the big screen, however. But thanks to the film’s 25th anniversary, Back to the Future is back in the present, as the film was re-released for two showings in selected cities.
We had a chance to catch the re-release at Barrywoods 24 at I-29 and Barry Road, and in spite of the somewhat outdated ‘80s feel, the film still holds up well today.
