No car shows? No problem. That's why we have places like Wagner's Classic Cars in Bonner Springs

It’s easy to think that now that the car show season is over in Kansas City, there won’t be anyplace to see any neat cars until next spring.

Well hold on, cowboy. There are all kinds of great places to look at cars around here when the weather gets cold. You just have to know where to find them.

One great place to check out is Wagner’s Classic Cars in Bonner Springs, Kan. I make it a regular stop when I’m out window shopping. Wagner’s usually has a large variety of high-end muscle cars, classics, and hot rods for your viewing pleasure. And of course, if you’re doing your Christmas shopping, all these cars are for sale.

When we went on Saturday, the showroom was relatively empty. Apparently, most of the choice cars had been taken to Oklahoma for an auction.

Still, even at low capacity, there were still plenty of neat things to look at. The best car there was probably a ’67 Chevelle SS. But there was a contemporary GTO, a highboy roadster, various Camaros and Mustangs, and a pair of ’56 Chevys. We even managed to get in the secret back room and look at a couple of customer cars and other projects.

I took some pictures, BHo took a few others, and together we were able to put together a whole slideshow below. But chances are, we’ll make it back a time or two during the off-season, so if there are any worthwhile additions, I’ll be sure to post an update.
